Synopsis
Set in a dystopian future, Silo depicts a society where 10,000 people live in a giant underground silo extending 144 stories beneath the surface. Production
Development of a film adaptation of Wool began in 2012 but was eventually shelved. In May 2021, Apple TV+ picked up the project as a series. Principal photography commenced in August 2021 in the United Kingdom. The first season consists of ten episodes, each with a runtime between 41 to 62 minutes. The series is produced by Mímir Films, Nemo Films, AMC Studios, and Apple Studios (season 2).
